How can children learn abstract concepts?… possibly by making them more tangible. Each one of the the numbers puzzle are made with the same number of pieces that correspond to that number.
The number one is just made in one piece, two is made of two pieces, and so on.
Children first sort the parts by colour, and then have to count them to know which number they have to compose.
The difficulty of the puzzle increases together with the number.
Following MUJI's responsible sourcing the puzzle is sold using a minimal packaging and is made using wood sourced from renewable forests.
